For 2017 I’ve decided to expand my clay knowlege by taking classes. So far this year I’ve taken Annie Chrietzberg’s Glaze Praticum class via Skype. If you’re feeling less than confident with raw materials, safety, glaze mixing or figuring out how to fix glaze problems I’d highly recommend taking her class.

  Artists buy from artists, amiright?  In my experience YES they do.  The bulk of my jewelry is handmade either purchased, traded for my pottery or gifted. I have original art from all over: a humongous natural gourd carved in South Dakota, a Batik from Colorado, original paintings from Minnesota, water colors from Florida and pottery from just about every state.  Most of my art collection comes from art shows, studio tours, galleries, friends and even Etsy.
